Media Reviews
'Here is somebody with the guts to go into the deepest core of herself, her time, her history, and risk more than anybody else has so far, just out of a love for the truth and a need to tell it.' - Thomas Pynchon 'Marge Piercy is shameless; that is, she is that rarity, a free person. Her freedom enables her to write about her brilliant, fascinating life with honesty and gusto. It also enables her to create an existence rooted in the most humane values. She is magnificent on the subject of cats. I loved this memoir.' Marilyn French 'Piercy writes with high intelligence, love for the world, ethical passion and innate feminism.' Adrienne Rich 'One of the most important writers of our time'. Erica Jong
