Anglican Curate (My Life, My Religion)

Anglican Curate (My Life, My Religion)

by RNASON (Author)

Synopsis

In each book of the series, a religious community leader describes his or her work and daily life. They show that they have far more to do than lead services one day a week - for example, teaching, studying, hospital visiting, caring, office work, attending meetings and representing their religious institution in the local community. They are also 'ordinary people', practising their religion for themselves and keeping up with mundane matters like cooking and cleaning. Each book is based on photographs specially taken to show the busy, variety-full life of the person in question. The first-person text leads the reader through the pictures. In describing each leader's life and work, the photos and text also provide a wealth of information about the religion itself. ANGLICAN CURATE features Revd Nicola Lenthall, a recently ordained Anglican priest working as the curate (the assistant to the vicar) at All Saints, Leighton Buzzard. She is a young married woman, in her 20s.
