Author Bio
Elwyn Hartley Edwards (1927-2007) was the editor of Riding magazine for 18 years and the consultant editor for Horse & Hound magazine for five years. A regular judge of horse shows, he is the author of more than 30 books on horse-related subjects, including Horses, The New Encyclopedia of the Horse, The New Rider's Horse Encyclopedia, and The Ultimate Horse. Richard Dunwoody is a retired British jockey in National Hunt racing who was a three-time Champion Jockey.
