Media Reviews
This book has been the reference work for this area in the UK at least for a number of years. It continues to be a fantastically detailed work covering the complexities of the reward arena to great effect. It would be a very good addition to the knowledge and resources of a manager working in the payroll/reward area especially at the policy making level. It would also be highly beneficial to the student of HR and management more widely as it has a very authentic focus and uses clear and recognisable case examples. --Dr Steve Ellis, Associate Dean, Business and Management at Regents University London, UK (about a previous edition)
Michael Armstrong's latest reward textbook is an excellent resource as always. The content is easy to comprehend due to the straightforward and practical approach; with quality, up-to-date case studies, helpful tables and has everything in one place for anyone studying reward. A sound foundation for learners - both reward and non-reward practitioners. --Ray Parmenter, Associate Tutor, Acacia Learning (about a previous edition)
