Keith Sharpe is Professor of Education at De Montfort University, Bedford. He was previously Professor of Education at Liverpool University and before that a primary and secondary French teacher. He is a member of the Primary Modern Foreign Languages Steering Group at the Qualifications and Curriculum Authority.
