Slow Reckoning

Slow Reckoning

by TomAthanasiou (Author)

Synopsis

Most people today try to be environmentalists. They recycle rubbish, drive a bit less, and shop for energy-efficient products. They think they are making a difference - but they're wrong. Athanasiou locates the roots of the crisis in the planetary divide between rich and poor, between developed and developing nations, and warns of the apocalyptic consequences if we don't undertake radical social and economic changes to forestall disaster.
