Synopsis

At 23 Brinsley Street, Kate Cooper struggles with her two babies, the household chores and an effort of keeping up her appearances for her high-flying husband. Author Bio
Deborah Moggach lives in Hampstead, North London, with a Hungarian painter and her two, almost grown-up children. She has written eleven other novels including seesaw, The Ex-Wives, The Stand-In and Close Relations, and two volumes of short stories. Her TV screenplays include Stolen, Seesaw and the prize-winning Google Eyes. She has also developed Close Relations as an acclaimed five-part BBC serial.
