We bought both AQA AS books (This one and the Philip Allen Barker and Redfern book) for our small AS class last year and over the year ended up using this one more and more. The book has integrated questions in it, clear diagrams and useful and detailed case studies. The text is more in depth than the Barker and develops the themes from the syllabus allowing you to get a flavour of the required angle. This year we are only buying this one. The author John Smith is a principle examiner for AQA and responsible for Geog2 papers. Buy a copy of the other book for reference and a few useful diagrams, but this is the one to buy for the class to use. Highly recommended. * 4 Star Teacher Amazon Review *
