  Pupils will fulfil the National Curriculum requirements of reading drama by major playwrights by studying the eighteenth century plays included in this resource. Pupils will appreciate the importance of texts that portray information, issues and events relating to past experience by reading the two mini-anthologies from the eighteenth century.
