  This is a developmental programme for teaching spelling in primary schools, based on an analysis of recent research into spelling and aiming to enable teachers to offer children a carefully thought-out progression of spelling activities. 118 photocopiable sheets and a wide range of activities are provided, including diagnostic assessments, worksheets, and a variety of games to play. Many of the copymasters contain banks of pictures, letters or words which can be made up and mounted for permanent use. The book covers the requirements of the National Curriculum and the corresponding levels of English 5-14 for Scotland.
