  This is the first of two books written specifically for GNVQ courses in Leisure and Tourism, and based closely on the GNVQ specification. The books are also suitable for City & Guilds and BTEC courses in Travel, Business, and Leisure and Tourism, as well as GCSE Tourism. Each assignment begins with an explanation of what will be learnt and relates this to the requirements of the GNVQ. The tasks start simply and progress to more complex analytical activities, including analyzing statistics, reading maps, planning leisure and sports events, and writing reports using word-processing skills.
