  Part of a National Curriculum science course, this teacher's pack provides classroom-tested ideas for each attainment target at each level. All topics are closely cross-referenced to the National Curriculum science document. The teacher's material contains several practical explorations. The book is in three sections, each covering a level (1,2 and 3) in key stage 1. The emphaisis is on levels 1 and 2 which are the levels which the majority of children should have reached by the age of seven. The section on level 3 is shorter, providing an outline of activities for more advanced children.
