Growing Up in Scotland: An Anthology

Growing Up in Scotland: An Anthology

by RobbieKydd (Editor), NoraKydd (Editor)

Synopsis

An entertaining and, we think, definitive anthology of extracts from autobiographies, biographies, novels, short stories and poems about the Scottish experience of childhood. It begins with accounts of childbirth and infancy and moves on to play and exploration, schooldays, adolescent crises and relationships with parents. The resulting narrative is nothing less than a brightly coloured tapestry of life in Scotland over the past few centuries.
