Hypno-Dwarves and the Night of the Living Bed (Zac Zoltan's Mad Monster Agency)

Hypno-Dwarves and the Night of the Living Bed (Zac Zoltan's Mad Monster Agency)

by Knife & Packer (Author), Jem Packer (Author)

Synopsis

Everything is quiet at the Mad Monster Agency - too quiet. All over town people are increasingly tired. At first they feel drowsy, then chronically lethargic and eventually they can hardly move. The Agency bunker seems to be immune to whatever is causing the mass tiredness, so Zac and Dr Brains decide to spend the evening there. When they emerge on to the street at midnight they can't believe what they are seeing. People are being carried away in their beds! Following the procession of beds Zac and the Doctor find themselves deep underground where the victims are put to work digging but for what, and by whom? It's none other than the dreaded Hypno-Dwarves. Hypno-Dwarves are not the cuddly, bearded types. These cave dwellers have been around for centuries, honing their hypnotising skills over the course of time. Their new ruler, known simply as 'The Eye', wants much more. He is searching for the mythical jewel know as 'The Lion's Claw'. This stone gives those that possess it the power to hypnotise on a huge scale - if the Hypno-Dwarves find it the whole world will fall under their spell!
