by Barry Pilton (Author)

Synopsis

On the surface, Abernant is an idyllic rural town. But underneath, personalities clash, hatreds simmer and blackmail and sexual debauchery abound. The Mayoress' desire to commission a town statue from a provocative drunk, and the penniless commodore's plan to hire out his mansion to a dishonest film crew, all under the ever-watchful eye of the local paper desperate to increase its sales, set the stage for the hilarious and absorbing turns of this latest Valley series adventure.
