Roy Apps writes for TV and radio as well as authoring many books for children, including the My Barmy Aunt Boomerang books, which were first published by Bloomsbury in the 90s. He lives in East Sussex. Sumiko Shimakata is a graduate of Kingston University, where she gained a BA Hons in Illustration and Animation. Originally from Japan Sumiko now lives and works in London. This is her first children's book.
