Author Bio
Jane Austen was born in 1775 in Steventon, Hampshire and died in 1817. She published many novels in her lifetime including Sense and Sensability, Mansfield Park and Emma. Northanger Abbey and Persuasion were published after her death. Her work is studied widely in schools and universities and is the subject of much scholarly and critical work. Austen's novels are also widely read by ordinary people, simply for pleasure. Meg Cabot is the author of many books for young adults including the phenomenally successful Princess Diaries series. Meg currently lives in Key West, Florida.
