by Angela McAllister (Author), Ian Beck (Illustrator)

Synopsis

King Widget has gone missing. It's all very mysterious, and brave young Digory has been sent off to find him. But along the way a baby dragon befriends Digory and he is soon mistaken for a wizard! Feared by the locals for his possible enchantments, he is knocked out by a clomp of earth at a mud slinging match. The next thing Digory knows is he is locked up in the dungeon of Warlock's Haunt. However, in a merry twist of fate, Digory may well have stumbled upon the very answer to the riddle of the lost king.
