Synopsis

Finding an egg is one thing. Having it hatch in your own kitchen and turn into a very bossy duck is quite another. Bruce Robinson is the author of The Peculiar Memoirs of Thomas Penman (Bloomsbury) as well as being the creator of one of the nation's favourite films, Withnail and I. Sophie Windham is an illustrator of many wonderful books including UNICORNS, UNICORNS (Orchard Books) for which she was shortlisted for the Kate Greenaway Award and our own best-selling THE OBVIOUS ELEPHANT which was also written by Bruce Robinson. Sophie and Bruce are husband and wife and live in a beautiful valley in Herefordshire near Hay-on-Wye.
