Margi McAllister lives in Yorkshire where she writes her novels. Margi has previously been published by Oxford University Press. This is her first book for Bloomsbury and is the first in a trilogy featuring the island of Mistmantle. The cover art and interior illustrations are by the very talented Gary Blyth who illustrated Whale Song by Dyan Sheldon as well as an illustrated edition of Dracula for Walker Books.
