Bob and the House Elves

Bob and the House Elves

by Emily Rodda (Author), Tim Archbold (Illustrator)

Synopsis

Bob is untidy, Bob eats baked beans for dinner every night, Bob is happy. Until one awful morning when he awakes to a spotless house and an infestation of house elves. He and the elves share very different views on house keeping and Bob is mortified to discover - in front of his builder colleagues - that the elves have made him a packed lunch, complete with fairy cakes. Whilst desperately trying to rid himself of their unwanted attention, Bob meets someone rather special, and learns that a different approach is all it takes to cure his elf problem. A enchanting and humorous account of the benefits of compromise, working together and a small amount of house keeping.
