Synopsis

The author: Brian Patten is one of the most acclaimed poets writing today. He first made his name with Roger McGough and Adrian Henri as part of The Liverpool Poets and since then has established himself as one of the top children's poets of this decade. This is his first picture book text for Bloomsbury. The illustrator: Michael Terry is acclaimed for his characterful representations of animals. This is his second picture book for Bloomsbury, his first being the highly successful THE SELFISH CROCODILE. Michael lives in Kent.
