Synopsis

Rob Ryan was born in Liverpool in 1951 and has written for The Face, Arena, Esquire and the Sunday Times. He joined the latter as Deputy Travel Editor, before leaving to help launch Conde Nast Traveller. He is currently Writer at Large for GQ magazine and lives in London with his wife and three children.
