Author Bio
Lucy Ellmann is the daughter of Richard Ellmann, biographer of Wilde, and writer Mary Ellmann. Lucy was born in Illinois but moved to England at the age of thirteen when her father came to take up his chair at Oxford. Her first novel, Sweet Desserts, was the winner of the Guardian Fiction Prize, and was followed by Varying Degrees of Hopelessness.
