  This guide to plants suitable for conservatory and greenhouse cultivation covers the best varieties of familiar plants, but also includes the more neglected, but no less easy to care for or attractive plants. An important feature of the book is the grading of plants into three temperature regimes which makes plant choice for the relative newcomer to growing under glass easier. An A-Z of greenhouse and conservatory plants is also included. Other aspects included are guides to the different types of greenhouses, their equipment and pest and disease control. The author is a regular presenter of BBC TV's Gardener's World and a panellist on BBC Radio's Gardener's Question Time and has been in charge of the glasshouses at the Royal Horticultural Society garden at Wisley.
