Author Bio
Dennis Walder is Professor of Literature at the Open University where he is also founder-director of the Open University Colonial and Post-Colonial Literatures Research Group. Born and brought up in South Africa and educated at the universities of Cape Town and Edinburgh he has lectured widely in the UK, Canada, South Africa, Singapore and India. He is the author and editor of 12 books on 19th and 20th C literature, including: Literature in the Modern World and Post-Colonial Literatures in English. He is editor of 3 volumes of Fugard's plays.
