Author Bio
Simon James is the author and illustrator of a number of bestselling picture books. These include My Friend Whale, Sally and the Limpet, Dear Greenpeace, Leon and Bob, which was a Smarties Book Prize Silver Medal Winner, a series abou ta mischievous boy called Jake, and Little One Step. Jess and Grandad first appeared in Simon's picture book The Wild Woods, which was praised by The Guardian as A breath of fresh air... Full of humour and vitality.
