Author Bio
Jamie Rix is the son of actors Brian Rix and Elspet Gray. A TV producer in his spare time (Smith and Jones, KYTV, Harry Hill), his first children's book, Grizzly Tales for Gruesome Kids, was published in 1990 and was the Smarties Book Prize Children's Choice. Since then he has adapted Grizzly Tales and his other collections of cautionary tales, Ghostly Tales for Ghastly Kids, Fearsome Tales for Fiendish Kids and More Grizzly Tales for Gruesome Kids into an award-winning animation series on CTV. Another two titles, Johnny Casanov - The Unstoppable Sex Machine and The Changing Face of Johnny Casanova have also been made into a popular animated television series. Jamie's other books include Free the Whales; The Fire in Henry Hooter; fatherchristmas.con and a picture book, The Last Chocolate Biscuit. Married with two grown-up sons, he lives in south London.
