Media Reviews
* Ahlberg has created another mini-masterpiece, deftly combining the familiar and the unpredictable to keep readers on their toes. Katherine McEwen's exuberant illustrations capture the pace and humour. Early readers deserve more books like this. TES Primary * The eleven short chapters, easy sentence structure, action-packed text and clear design combine to make this just right for emergent readers. Yet it is also a delight to read aloud and great fun for adult and child to share and laugh over together. The Bookseller * Huge fun and ideal for early readers. The Independent on Sunday * Ahlberg's wit and skill for spinning a great yarn are evident, as always, while McEwen's illustrations provide the perfect visual complement. Junior
