Synopsis

It's Mum's birthday. Stanley wants to give her a present, but he can't think of anything. His older brother Rex is giving her flowers, his older sister, Queenie, is giving Mum a tin of her favourite toffees, and his biggest sister, Flora, is making a cake. Author Bio
Vivian French is a professional storyteller as well as an acclaimed children's author. Her many picture books include Please, Princess Primrose; A Song for Little Toad (shortlisted for the Smarties Book Prize); A Christmas Star Called Hannah and a retelling of A Christmas Carol. She is also the author of the Read and Wonder non-fiction picture books Caterpillar Butterfly (shortlisted for the Kurt Maschler Award); The Apple Trees; Spider Watching; and Growing Frogs. Vivian lives in Edinburgh and Bristol. Dana Kubick studied at the New York School of Visual Arts and has designed many well-known greeting cards, collectable porcelain mugs and plates, and even teddybear-shaped ice-cream wafers! She says of To Mum, With Love, I fell in love with Stanley and felt considerable sympathy for the little guy. He tries so hard but things don't always go right for him.
