Ian Whybrow earned considerable acclaim as a comic writer with his popular series of books about Sniff the dog, which were broadcast on BBC Radio. His first picture book story, Quacky Quack-quack! (illustrated by Russell Ayto) was shortlisted for the 1991 Smarties Book Prize and was a runner-up in the Mother Goose Award. Ian is married with two daughters and lives in Harrow.
