Author Bio
David Skipper was born in 1962 and grew up on a housing estate in the heart of industrial Teesside. He says of Life on the Line, I grew up around a railway and so a lot of the events and places in the book are real, including Twenty One Arches and Suicide Leap, although unfortunately the Arches have now been demolished because they were considered a danger to adventurous children. I still live close to the line and can hear the sound of the trains in the night. David's other titles for Walker include Barnstormers, and Quest. He lives in Cleveland, where, since leaving school, he has worked as a laboratory technician.
