Author Bio
Carol Sinclair was born in a small town near Wellington, New Zealand, the eldest of four children. From an early age she would invent stories to entertain her siblings and friends and after leaving school went on to do a variety of jobs involving writing. Her inspiration for Operation Lighthouse came from her sadness about endangered species. She says, Conservation often seems more of a dreary duty than a fight for the planet. I wanted to create a world where the idea of saving the environment could be exciting. Carol has written several books, although Operation Lighthouse is her first title for children. She lives in Wiltshire with her partner, the artist Ray Ching.
