  All day long the moles dig tunnels and push up mole-hills. But one young mole gets bored - he wants to run and stretch and dance! He meets a cow, a frog, a fox and a woodpecker - but none of them can dance. Suddenly, though, he hears a loud banging noise and sees a girl dancing in a garden. He watches her and copies what she does and then dances home - past the astonished woodpecker, fox, frog and cow. The other moles are amazed too, but after watching the young mole for a while, they too come out and dance!
