  A little witch, Griselda, and a little wizard, George, decide to have a booing-competition: whoever scares the moon will be the winner. Griselda goes first and scares - a rat. Then George scares - a bat. Griselda scares a ghost and George scares a house, but neither scares the moon. So they agree to boo together. They count to ten and boo a boo that scares the moon. On each of the seven double-page spreads in this book, there's an intriguing pop-up device: a rat appears from under a stone, a bat from a tree; a ghost shifts from one window to another; furniture flies around inside the roof of a house; a huge Booooooo pops up and the moon's expression goes from surprised to scared, and George and Griselda leap up and down with glee.
