  A short story about a dog and a kitten. Percy, the dog, lives very happily in a house that is all his own. Then one day a brown box comes, and out of the box comes Toto - a little ginger kitten with blue eyes. After that, whatever Percy does and wherever Percy goes, along comes Toto. After a while, Percy gets grumbly and growly and grouchy and goes up to bed and, when Toto follows, he roars at him to go away. He calls him a teeny-tiny, tincy-wincy, tiddly-widdly tiger . But when Percy sleeps, he has horrible dreams, in which a great big tiger threatens to eat him for dinner. Percy wakes to find Toto purring beside him in the basket.
