by PriscillaLamont (Illustrator), Leon Rosselson (Author)
A little boy wakes up and goes in search of his mum. There are so many polaces where she could be: in the bath or the apple tree, behind the door or the curtains, under the chair. He goes on a long search and finds lots of things, but not his mum - until, finally, he looks in her bedroom and there she is, fast asleep. He jumps all over her to wake her up, so that he can give her a hug. The reader is able to join the little boy on his search in this picture book. Leon Rosselson is a songwriter who has also written the children's books Rosa's Singing Grandfather (shortlisted for the 1992 Carnegie Medal) and Rosa's Grandfather Sings Again . Priscilla Lamont has also illustrated The Troublesome Pig and See Mouse Run (shortlisted for the Kurt Maschler Award and the Smarties Book Prize respectively), as well as Our House and the Our Mammoth series of books.
