Author Bio
Douglas Davis, a pioneer of video and and Web art, has played an active role in contemporary art since the 1960s. He has held solo exhibitions at the Centre Georges Pompidou in Paris and the Metropolitan Museum in New York. His work has also been exhibited at the Whitney Museum of American Art and the Solomon R. Guggeheim Museum. Davis is the author of several books, and is a contributor to The New York Times and Art in America.
