by Mindy Starns Clark (Author)

Synopsis

What secrets can be found by the light of the Cajun Moon? New Orleans may be the Big Easy, but nothing about it was ever easy for international business etiquette expert Chloe Ledet. She moved away years ago, leaving her parents and their famous French Quarter restaurant behind. But when she hears that her father has been shot, she races home to be by his side and to handle his affairs only to learn a long-hidden secret that changes everything she knew to be true about herself and her family. Framed for murder, Chloe and a handsome Cajun stranger must search for a priceless treasure, one whose roots weave through the very history of Louisiana itself. But can Chloe depend on the mysterious man leading her on this cat-and-mouse chase into the heart of Cajun country? Or by trusting him, has she gone from the frying pan into the fire? Following up on her bestselling Gothic thriller, Whispers of the Bayou , and Amish romantic suspense, Shadows of Lancaster County , Mindy Starns Clark offers another exciting standalone novel, one full of Cajun mystery, hidden dangers, and the glow of God's unending grace.

Media Reviews
Under the Cajun Moon by Mindy Starns Clark kept me riveted from the first page to the last. It is a wonderful romance, with plenty of intrigue, and characters so real and fascinating that they had me entranced. This author is now on my permanent 'auto buy' list! -Roxanne Rustand, author of End Game I just finished Mindy Clark's Under the Cajun Moon. What a cleverly written novel! I found myself giggling at the end of each chapter, because the hook at the end would not let go. Like a fish, or should I say an alligator, I walked the streets of the French Quarter and traversed the swamps--hoping to steer clear of snakes and gators. The mystery, the gusty and fascinating character, the enchanting and mysterious setting, and Clark's alluring writing all made a delightful gumbo. -DiAnn Mills, author of Breach of Trust This stand-alone mystery showcases the author's birth state and her writing talent. The book is well-written with an easily understood plot line, believable characters, a romance, and a crackling ending. References to Christian faith are scattered throughout the contemporary story line, without being 'preachy' or overwhelming the excellent and believable plot line. Mindy Starns Clark is a multi-faceted author with fiction and non-fiction in her repertoire. This is a wonderful addition to her other books. I couldn't put it down, once started, and thoroughly enjoyed the French story line and its connection to the present. This will make a great present for readers who enjoy romance, mystery, and history. -Suzanne Fellman Jacob, Chalfont, PA I have just read, Under the Cajun Moon, and it was the cause of a sleepless night. The book was so great that I couldn't put it down until it was finished in the early morning hours. Mindy Starns Clark is a gem of a writer and only gets better with each book she writes. -Nancy Daversa
