Author Bio
Volker Nolte is a professor at the University of Western Ontario and is one of the most respected rowing researchers in the world. He won a world championship medal for Germany in the early 1980s and coached their development team until 1990. Nolte also coached the Canadian Lightweight men to 3 World Championships and 1 Olympic medal between 1992 and 2000.
