Synopsis

This work is aimed at coaches, PE teachers and professionals working with athletes. It is designed to introduce sport science topics to coaches, as well as how these concepts can be applied to enhance sports performance. Author Bio
Craig Wrisberg is a professor in the department of Sport and Leisure Studies at the University of Tennessee. Over the past 30 years he has published numerous research articles on topics including anticipation in performance, motor learning, and the role of cognitive strategies in sport performance. He is a fellow of both the American Academy of Kinesiology and Physical Education and the Association for the Advancement of Applied Sport Psychology. He is also co-author of Motor Learning and Performance, published by Human Kinetics.
