BMA Book Awards 2008 - Commended

This is an excellent introduction to the core curriculum in undergraduate surgery. It's an easy-to-read two page format with an excellent section on the pre-, peri- and postoperative care of the surgical patient. In summary: a good initial text for first year clinical medical students and allied healthcare professionals.
