Author Bio
Michael Dykes obtained a BSc (Hons) degree in Anatomy and Cell Biology from the University of Sheffield. Since graduating, he has worked at the University of Nottingham Medical School as an Anatomy Demonstrator, teaching and assessing undergraduate medical students. In October 2001, he is to return to the University of Sheffield to study for a degree in medicine.

Authors for basic science titles are medical students, keeping Crash Course in touch with changes in curricula and maintaining its student perspective. The name of the new author goes first on the cover followed by the name of the author from the previous edition.
