  In writing this book I am endeavouring to share with you my experience of the Book of Revelation over many years. It has always been my conviction that our wonderful God of all comfort intended that this book should be a comfort to his people as they passionately serve the Lord Jesus Christ in obedience that comes from faith and works by love. It is the final chapter in God's revelation that is meant to be a guide to us for this life and reveal the glorious future the Lord Jesus has prepared for us. This is a devotional book; it is not intended for the student who is looking for a textbook on the Book of Revelation. If in reading it anyone is encouraged to take up their cross and follow Jesus, I shall be thankful to the Lord for allowing me to play a small part in the good pleasing and perfect will of the Lord in the life of one of his people.
