Synopsis

When Jessica is charmed into accepting a job at grand Upton Hall she is not expecting to have to provide full time care for an autistic boy, an asthmatic girl and the sharp-tongued Lady Grace, who is recuperating from hip replacement surgery. Stella Whitelaw began her writing career as a cub reporter and rose to become the first female chief reporter in London. She writes short stories for national women's magazines and has won many competitions, including the Art of Writing, judged by Sheridan Morley, for the London Magazine.
