It includes methods for the making of gifts from pressed flowers, which have been popular since Victorian times. The final section gives ideas for pot-pourri mixtures, lavender bags, and other gifts which make use of the lingering perfumes of the preserved flowers. It is illustrated with drawings from Edith Holden's The Country Diary of an Edwardian Lady .
