Author Bio
His Holiness the Dalai Lama is the spiritual leader of all Tibetan Buddhists. He was awarded the Nobel Peace Prize in 1989. Since the Chinese invasion of Tibet, he has lived in exile in Dharamsala, India. Jean-Claude Carriere has been the screenwriter for more than forty films, including 'The Return of Martin Guerre', 'The Unbearable Lightness of Being', 'The Mahabharata' and 'Belle de Jour'. He lives in France.
