Author Bio
Michael Cullup has been working as a freelance writer for as long as he can remember but has only been working at it full-time since taking early retirement from teaching in 1993. His wife is also a teacher. Michael has taught English at all levels, both in England and overseas (including the Netherlands, Kenya and Saudi Arabia). In the 1970s he was English Teaching Advisor at the Ministry of Education in Thailand. In England, he has taught English in secondary schools and colleges of further education. Michael wrote Brush Up Your Grammar for two main reasons: because so many people, including teachers, have asked him to write it, and because other books for the general public on the same subject seem obscure and intimidating.
