  Astronomy for GCSE has guided many students through the astronomical material in the National Curriculum since it was first published in 1990. It is now reissued in a second, updated edition, incorporating new chapters on cosmology, non-optical observing and spectrosopy, to take account of the latest modifications to the GCSE syllabus.
