Liz Stuckey spent her childhood in the Middle and Far East where she became fascinated by handicrafts at an early age. In 1975 she graduated from art college with a degree in fashion, after which she worked for Bruce Oldfield. There followed a career in buying, with thirteen years spent with multiple retailers. She is now a freelance writer, illustrator and designer; and lives in London.
